The former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and two-term Governor of Kano State, His Excellency Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has returned to Nigeria from London after spending several weeks abroad for medical attention.
I am pleased to formally announce that Dr. Ganduje has safely arrived back in the country in excellent health. He has since settled at his residence, where he is taking deserved rest after a period of treatment and recovery. His safe return is a manifestation of the mercy of Almighty God and the result of the fervent prayers and goodwill of his family, political associates, and millions of supporters across the nation.
Dr. Ganduje embarked on this medical trip five days after voluntarily resigning as the National Chairman of the APC in order to devote time to his health. Thanks to God’s grace, he has now returned fully restored, strong, and reinvigorated.
His return is a moment of great joy and reassurance to his admirers, colleagues, and loyal supporters who continue to acknowledge his towering contributions to the growth of our democracy. As a two-term Governor of Kano State and as the National Chairman of the APC, Dr. Ganduje played a pivotal role in consolidating the party’s strength and in advancing national development.
On behalf of his family and close associates, I extend profound gratitude to all who stood firmly by him with unrelenting prayers and goodwill messages throughout his time abroad. Your solidarity and support were sources of immense strength, and may the Almighty reward you abundantly.
I wish to assure the nation that Dr. Ganduje remains unwavering in his commitment to the service of Nigeria. With renewed strength and vitality, he is poised to continue providing wise counsel, political guidance, and patriotic leadership for the progress of our party and our dear country.
