Thousands of youths in Kano Protests in Support of CP Bakori

Thousands of youths were seen in the Streets city of Kano to carrying placards with slogans in support of the Kano Police Commissioner.

The youths, who are “indigenous to Kano State, have taken to the streets of Kano city to demand that the CP be allowed to continue his duties in the state.

The banners they are carrying are inscribed with “CP Kano must stay” “Kano People Love CP” “Kano Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf Leave CP alone” and other slogans.

The peaceful protest by the youths was conducted peacefully.

It may be recalled that last Wednesday, Governor Abba Yusuf, in his speech at the Nigeria Independence Day commemoration, urged the Governor, Bola Tinubu, to remove the Commissioner of Police, Kano State, CP AI Bakori.

This followed the non-attendance of the Kano State Police officers which may have been one of the reasons that angered the Governor to the point that he sent that message to the Governor, but it seems that this did not go down well with the people of Kano State as thousands of youths took to the streets of Kano city to show their love for CP Bakori and demand that they be removed. He continued his work in Kano state.
